A television icon, Barbara Billingsley, passed away yesterday. She was 94. Ms. Billingsley is most commonly known for her role as June Cleaver, Wally and Beaver's mom, and Ward's wife.
Ms. Billingsley was also known as everyone's mom. If you have ever seen a re-run of "Leave It To Beaver" you know what I mean. She rarely waore pants in any episode of the show which ran from 1957 to 1963. One episode she actually wore jeans when she was working in the garden. But most of the time she wore full crinoline and very fashionable clothes while doing housework with a strand of pearls perpetually around her neck.
If you have ever seen the 1980 movie "Airplane", you may remember Ms. Billingsley translating "jive" to a stewardess. I about passed out with laughter when "The Beaver's mom" said: "Chump don't want no help. Chump don't get no help."~~~She was tall; she was incredibly beautiful; she was a legend. Rest in Peace, dear Ms. Billinglsley.~~~XXOO, Beth

I'm in the studio today and creating. Utter and complete bliss!
When I saw that Christmas is less than 3 months away, I freaked out. I have to get started on holiday crafts and goodies for the high school craft show in November. Yikes! Where does the time go???~~~XXOO, Beth
