My Tiara & Crown Swap partner Michelle posted some very cute pics of herself wearing the tiara I made for her and she posted a hilarious picture of the condition of the box I used to mail her tiara. OK, it had to go over 2000 miles, but did an elephant have to sit on it? Thank goodness the tiara survived! Here's a couple of pictures of my creation for Michelle before it took it's journey...
Vintage tinsel, rhinestones, vintage millinery flowers, pink hearts, roses, and the letter "M" for Michelle made this a regal topper for the Queen of the West who adores pink!
A card and a packet of more pink for Miss Michelle to use in future creations. I love this swap!
Before we dash off for a wonderful vacation in Vermont and New York, I just had to take some time from packing to work on my new book and create a few pin cushions and totes. I thought I'd share the pin cushions which are made from vintage figurines, feedsack fabric, vintage millinery flowers, buttons, bead, charms, you name it! These are a ball to make~~~I've made over 375 of them! Oh, and did I mention that after 900+ tote bags, 375+ pin cushions, Halloween costumes, and who knows what else, I broke the foot pedal on my Singer Sewing Machine? It gets stuck and keeps sewing when I lift my foot---Arghhhhh! I have to get my machine serviced and get a new foot pedal. The poor little dear seriously needs a check up, but I digress. Here are two photos of my newest pin cushion creations...
Happy blogging! I'll catch up with you all on the road! XXOO, Beth
