Vintage Stocking Swap and If You Give A Dog A Box

Yesterday the most lovely assortment of vintage Christmas goodies arrived at my doorstep! Maria from The Junk Drawer made me the most lovely pink and green stocking with cute tassels and rhinestones! She stuffed it full to overflowing with the most fabulous vintage goodies!

There are always boxes in my house. Big ones and little ones. Hubby brought home a big one and when we were finished with it, our son made it into a fort which he played in for about five minutes. Then as hubby took it upstairs to put in the recycling bin a thought occurred to him as to how he could get it to fit in the recycling box. So he put our dog into the box and this is what happened.

She broke out of the box in about five seconds and instantly began shredding it. She tore it to bits in about three minutes.

Who needs a paper shredder?

The cat was unimpressed...

Well, back to sewing! I hope to have new items for my etsy shop to list this weekend. Stay tuned.
