Hello, My Friends!~~~
Every day, rain or shine, I take a brisk walk around my neighborhood. Being a creature of habit, I take the same route while plugged into my i-pod. Today I left the i-pod at home and took my camera so you all could come along with me! Put on your walking shoes and let's boogie!...
Here are the mums we bought at the farmer's market this morning, sitting in the sun on the front porch.
Give Rudy a pat on his head. He's quite old and very deaf, but he scares our dog!
I love our neighbor's Smartcar!
One of my neighbors has a butterfly habitat in his front yard. He and his wife are crazy for butterflies!
This is one entrance to a park along a stream called Holmes Run. Our neighborhood is partially bordered by this lovely park. We call this section the "Clean Up After Pets" park.
This is our neighborhood pool now closed for the season. I took this shot from a distance because the pool looks so lonely this time of year.
This manhole cover perplexes me. The misspelling of irrigation is one issue, but the bigger issue is the fact that it is located in front of an old elementary school, now a county school administration building. You think someone would have noticed by now!
This is the field around the school and it backs up to our back yard. We're at the end of this fence and beyond the trees.
Here, as we round the corner, is a lovely crepe myrtle tree. I adore these smooth-barked trees!
So that's our little walk. I hope you had fun!~~~XXOO, Beth
