Hello, My Friends!~~~
Well, as the world is so blinding white outside our door and with up to twenty more inches on the way, I have been attracted to the color in my house. In fact, I crave it this time of year. Garden magazines and my new organic gardening book lure me with their siren's song that spring is around the corner despite the fact that we have more snow than they do in Vancouver. The 2010 Winter Olympics can happen in our backyard as far as I'm concerned.
But back to the color. Our wonderful neighbors, Jon and Caroline, have spent the past week in Cancun and we spent the past week watching the snow pile up in their yard. Knowing full well that they would come home to over two feet of snow while wearing fresh tans and flipflops, we dug them a path to their front door.
And looky look what they brought us from Mexico!~~~~
This light up Frida Khalo and monkey friend jug is one of my very favorite things! How well they know our home's decor! I just LOVE this!~~~The jadeite green succulent is a new purchase from Home Depot. Hubby was buying sand to weigh down the back of his truck and I bought this. A girl has to have her priorities, doesn't she? Well, with more white stuff on the way, I am so happy to have color in our little nest on the "tundra."~~~XXOO, Beth
