Hello, Friends!~~~
Well, would you believe that on the heels of the World's Longest Yard Sale with Suzy last weekend, this past Saturday I turned around and headed out with hubby one hour west of where we live to the Route 11 Yard Crawl! It is 43 miles from Stephensville to New Market on scenic Route 11 in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.
Yard sales were set up all along the route with a cluster of dealers here and there.
This old house south of Stephensville had an interesting array of goods.
Including this odd LONG typewriter! Do any of you have any idea what this is for?
The house had these interesting lamps built into the porch posts.
Further down the road we saw a Drive-In. Cool!
Some of the house we saw were grand and some were a little humbler. The sweet ladies in this tucked away place sold me an apple picking basket for a dollar.
In Woodstock I spied this cute set of aqua table and chairs. We didn't get them. Sigh. But I did get a whole pile of loot. Wanne see?
I have listing a lot of these fun goodies in my etsy shop: Dime Store Chic. Sorry the photos are so dark. I took them in the evening. What a fun but exhausting day!~~~XXOO, Beth
