Ice Capades

Hello, My Friends!~~~

Mother Nature certainly made one nasty layer cake last night. First we got a half-inch of snow, then sleet, then freezing rain. Yesh! What a slick mess! Our son is happy as schools are closed today. I haven't ventured past our deck or front door. Here's proof:

The sage and parsley on our deck herb garden has a lovely glaze.

The table where we enjoy our summer meals is icicle decorated.

The mini pagodas next to the oregano looks like they are better off on top of the Himalayas.

Mr. Cardinal has an icicle dangling from his tail.

The yew hedge in front of the house sports a nice slick glaze, and my poor green Beetle is frozen in place.

Sigh...at least we have power and that is a very good thing!~~~XXOO, Beth
