Hello, My Friends!~~
We set up for the Trinkle Hall Arts and Crafts show in 77 degree weather and drove home two days later in an ice storm! But what did it matter? This was a wonderful weekend for lots of holiday cheer and seeing so many delightful friends old and new at the craft show!
Before setting up the booth, hubby and me took our yearly stroll down Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg while munching ginger cakes and sipping ginger ale!
The traffic was brutal--I kid!
Soon it was time to meet up with Suzy and get our booth set up! Here is what we managed to do Friday afternoon and evening...
We got a larger booth and brought MORE goodies! We managed to put it all on display--whew!
We had homemade and vintage for sale--so so much of it for the weekend!
Our collection of feather and pencil trees were perfect for dispaying ornaments.
On Saturday our booth was full of folks for most of the day! By the end of the day we had to fluff the booth and get ready for the folks stopping by on Sunday.
The weather on Sunday was not perfect as the cold and rain had set in, but friends old and new still came by to say hello!
It was so very very nice to see Cindy, Laurin, Priscilla, Jennifer, Jim, Tony and Marc and other familair faces! We are so humbled by the love and joy you bring in your appreciation of what we do. The weekend is magical because of you all who stopped by! THANK YOU for the very bottom of our hearts!
After we packed up Sunday afternoon and said goodbye to Suzy, hubby and I decided to stay in Williamsburg for the night and see the Grand Illuminations fireworks displays at three places in Colonial Williamsburg. All I can say is: Breathtaking!
A weekend we will always remember! On our arrival home in the Washington, DC area, 2-1/2 hours north of Williamsburg, we saw this in our neighborhood...
Ice and snow and a downed tree that took out our power for nine hours. BNut all is back to normal and now that the craft show is over, it is time to devote to my Dime Store Chic etsy shop. I have just listed new goods for you! As alwys THANK YOU for stopping by!~~~XXOO, Beth
