Having Fun with CUTE Vintage Christmas Ephemera

Hello, My Friends!~~

Over the years I have accumulated a large collection of vintage Christmas ephemera. My favorite collections are paper dolls and coloring books. When I was little, my Mom would get me a coloring book, paper dolls, or craft/activity book with a Christmas theme a week or so before the big day arrived. Those books kept me busy and quite amped up in holiday cheer before Santa came down our chimney. I still have those books and they were the basis of my collection. I believe we collect items that evoke fond, warm memories, and that's what I feel with the books from the dime store.

That in mind I scanned some of my favorite covers recently and had my favorite family owned print company make colorful copies on archival paper. I mounted the covers on paper and board before giving them over-the-top vintage embellishments. I hope you like them and perhaps these whimsical colorful images give you that warm nostalgic feeling too! Available in the Dime Store Chic shop!
