Hello, My Friends!~~

Some may find it odd that I craft for Christmas all year. Some may find it perfectly reasonable. I find it perfectly FUN! I look forward to sitting down in the studio with some vintage goodies on the work table and deciding how they will best be combined to make a one-of-a-kind creation for you put in your home to help celebrate the holidays. I don't make anything I wouldn't want in my own home. My inspiration are the dime stores I spent most of my childhood shopping in as they were the only places I could afford to spend my allowance or babysitting money. The dime stores were especially magical at holiday time. Many of you know exactly what I mean.

Look at this recreated Woolworths from the National Christmas Center in Lancaster, PA...

I would live here! But sadly the National Christmas Center will close in January of 2018. I am going to make a pilgrimage there before that happens. I was there once years ago and look forward to one last visit. I recommend  you pay a visit before this magical place is no more.
