It's Turkey Time in Dime Store Chic!

Thanksgiving is one of those autumnal holidays that sometimes feels like a speed bump between Halloween and Christmas. I love Thanksgiving because it's one of this holidays that doesn't involve gifts but instead a sharing of a meal with loved ones.

I do love turkeys. Benjamin Franklin lobbied to have the Wild Turkey as the national bird instead of the Bald Eagle. If you've ever seen a Wild Turkey with his feathers on full display trying to impress hens in the vicinity, it is certain that Mr. Franklin had a good argument for our national bird.

I have managed to acquire a nice assortment of vintage Thanksgiving goodies and have made one-of-a-kind decorations for you.
