Last Big Addition of Holiday Cheer to Dime Store Chic This Saturday!

Hello, My Friends!~~

Last big addition to the shop before Christmas! I will be listing LOTS and LOTS of vintage Christmas creations one more time this season! If you have a minute please stop by the Dime Store Chic shop beginning 7 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 9th. THANK YOU so much for adding my creations to your happy holiday homes! I look forward to 2018 when I will be listing vintage creations that celebrate Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day AND Easter and Springtime! A Visit To Woolworths at The National Christmas Center

Hello, My Friends!~~

Today hubby and I drove up to Paradise, PA to see The National Christmas Center which sadly will be closing on January 8, 2018. The owner is retiring and wants to sell it but I don't know if there are any takers. The collection in this museum is enormous. And today the crowds were very large. I had one mission and that was to see the Woolworth's display. It was crowded but I managed to get a bunch of photos for you. But I suggest if you can make the journey to Paradise, PA before January 8th, please do. You'll love this place as much as I did. The memories of being in Woolworth's or any dime store when I was child are magical ones. Especially at Christmas.

AS you can see the store was quite crowded, even though nothing was for sale. I itched to touch anything and everything, but of course didn't...mostly.
