Hello, My Friends!~~
Today hubby and I drove up to Paradise, PA to see The National Christmas Center which sadly will be closing on January 8, 2018. The owner is retiring and wants to sell it but I don't know if there are any takers. The collection in this museum is enormous. And today the crowds were very large. I had one mission and that was to see the Woolworth's display. It was crowded but I managed to get a bunch of photos for you. But I suggest if you can make the journey to Paradise, PA before January 8th, please do. You'll love this place as much as I did. The memories of being in Woolworth's or any dime store when I was child are magical ones. Especially at Christmas.
Here is Woolworth's at Christmastime:

The entrance sign and windows flanking the entrance full of Christmas cheer!

AS you can see the store was quite crowded, even though nothing was for sale. I itched to touch anything and everything, but of course didn't...mostly.

More things to gawk at, but don't touch!

There are displays on tables, in glass counters, on shelves, and all over!

I could've stayed there all day!

See the crowd of elves on the tree on the left?

See them now?...

Just look at these shelves full of dime store Christmas sparkle and shine!

This Shiny Brite ornament tree kit is bliss!

Villages of glittery Putz houses!

Toys!

More toys!

And even more toys!

Dolls too!

So much to look at!

And the jolly fellow himself!

I hope you've enjoyed this little tour of my favorite part of the National Christmas Center!
Happy Holidays! XXOO, Beth
