Hello, My Friends!
A year ago I remember sending out a March newsletter. The world certainly has changed since then, hasn’t it? I hope this newsletter finds you and yours healthy, happy, and prospering. We here at Dime Store Chic are doing just fine and are anticipating a few changes in our personal lives. The best one is that Mr. Dime Store Chic is retiring at the end of April after many years of service as a microbiologist at the National Institutes of Health and the FDA. We are anticipating lots of travel mostly in the form of road trips to wild places looking for and photographing birds and just enjoying the great outdoors. Both of us are thrilled at the prospect of seeing more of this wonderful country of ours!
Dime Store Chic will continue, as the idea of retirement from doing what I love is not for me! However, since I’ll be out of the studio for periods of time, new listings will be a little more spaced out than in the past. I will, as usual, announce new listings on Facebook, Instagram, and this website. I hope you will stop by the on-line shop and take a look around to see if there is anything that you might like for your home!
After Easter, I will be listing new creations celebrating July 4th, Halloween, and yes, Christmas! I’m excited about the next batch of creations and hope you will like them too! Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, April 6th at about 5 pm EST when I will add lots of fun vintage one-of-a-kind decorations to Dime Store Chic!
